Exercise. If you're anything like me, you might find it a bit tedious. Hiking through nature, playing with a skipping rope, and chasing your friend's dog around the park is a joyous form of it that I love to partake in. However, if someone says "let's work out!", it activates my boredom response in about 0.5 seconds.
Since starting this blog however, I realised that there are so many hobbies and activities in the world out there that I do not know about. And so there must be so many excercises and ways of working out that I do not know about either. Rather than sit and Google them, I have turned to my Apple watch.
On the Workout app, there is a long list of workouts you can track to ensure that the watch is calcualting the right amount of calories burned as you go about your day. My genius idea is to use this list as an ad hoc bingo card. I am going to make it a goal to try every single activity on there at least once at some point in my life.
Y'all in? Here's the list that Apple have published. It may not look like much. but each category has subcategories. There is a fair amount in there! The real variety though is hidden in the watch itself. For those of you without access to one, I will list them here.
Treat it like a little "Try it Once" bingo!

I've highlighted all the activities I have tried in purple, but there's still so very many to do out there and I did not even realise it. Some will probably take a lot of time and money, but others are accessible even if I just join a university club, or walk down the road to the fitness centre.
I hope this inspires you to try a new activity, whether you have a fitness watch or not.
Now go forth, and try it all once...or maybe twice
